Crafty Hands

Crafty Hands is actually the name for two very different stores. Located side-by-side in the Dayton Farmers Market is Crafty Hands, a wonderful collection of handcrafted gifts and local artwork, and Crafty Hands Toyland, one of the Valley's favorite hands-on toy stores.

Crafty Hands is an authorized dealer for local artist P. Buckley Moss, "The People's Artist," whose stylized paintings of simple valley life have become treasured around the world. Be sure to visit the Moss Museum in Waynesboro, just 30 miles away (pbuckleymoss.com).

  Crafty Hands also carries the works of local artist Ken Schuler and woodburner David Kreider. The jewelry collection at Crafty Hands is one of the best for miles around, featuring sterling silver, semi-precious stones, and national brands like Jody Coyote and Silver Forest. Woodcrafters will admire the inlaid art from Hudson River Inlay and the aspen jewelry boxes from Colorado.
